Welcome to Rock Valley College Adult Education GED Online instruction

Our GED online classes are offered at no cost to residents who are at least 17 years of age and are legally withdrawn from high school. Placement into GED Online classes requires a 9th grade or higher reading level which will be determined through testing at a registration session. Online classes are designed for students who are competent using a computer to access the Internet and communicate using e-mail. Online classes are reading intensive and are not for everyone. Please inquire about our traditional GED classes by calling (815) 921-2000.

Are online courses right for you? They are, if you have the right equipment, basic computer skills and the discipline to learn by working almost exclusively on a computer.
