RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

EAGLE Computer Requirements

Basic Browser Troubleshooting

Browser Pop-Ups
RVC EAGLE has lots of required pop-ups (timer for assessments, uploading files window, etc.) so you need to make sure your browser always allows pop-ups from rvceagle.angellearning.com.  Most browsers will generate a pop-up the first time you visit the site and it is most important that you select Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site (http://rvceagle.angellearning.com).  It is equally important to remember that almost every toolbar, e.g. Google Toolbar, has its own pop-up blocker tool.  Likewise when troubleshooting you should disable the pop-up blocker or select the option to allow pop-ups from this site.

Browser Cache
Web browsers generate something called cache and it cause you numerous problems when working with RVC EAGLE.  We highly suggest you clear your cache frequently as it will help improve the functionality of EAGLE and this process will not harm anything else on your computer.  It is important to remember to close the browser and all its tabs after clearing the history.

1. Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL on your keyboard
2. Uncheck Preserve Favorites Website Data
3. Check Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History.
4. Click on Delete.

1. Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL on your keyboard
2. Select Everything for the Time Range
3. Leave the default items checked
4. Click on Clear Now

1. Click on the gear in the upper right corner and 
    select Reset Safari
2. Select the options below (by default all are checked)
3. Click on Reset		 1. Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL on your keyboard

    following items from

4. Click on Clear Browsing Data

Compatible Browsers

RVC EAGLE is functional with four web browsers, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari (just the Mac version).  Firefox seems to be the most stable and functional web browser available that works with Windows and Mac operating systems.

Other Required software

RVC EAGLE needs certain programs in order to display the content properly.  All of these downloads are FREE.  When downloading the software, please remember to uncheck any extra items you are prompted to install in the during the process, such as toolbars or browsers.

Adobe Reader - Adobe Reader allows you to view certain documents on your computer that are made in the PDF format.  To download the latest version of Adobe Reader, click here.

Java - Java allows to you perform certain functions on EAGLE such as chat with classmates, some of the interactive tools, and many more things.  To download the latest version of Java, click here.

EAGLE may have videos made in various formats, so it is important to have all the required media players installed on your computer in order to view those properly.
