RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

Parking

Parking at Rock Valley College is FREE. There are close to 3,000 parking spaces on the main campus alone. Please see main campus map above for location of available parking lots on the main campus.

Travel Directions to RVC Main Campus

Rock Valley College is located at 3301 North Mulford Road on Rockford’s northeast side.  We’re on the corner of Mulford and Spring Brook Roads and access is possible from either street.

Reaching Rock Valley College is easy:

FROM MADISON OR BELOIT

  • Take I-90 south to the E. Riverside Blvd. exit in Rockford
  • Turn right onto E. Riverside Blvd. and proceed to N. Mulford Rd.
  • Turn left onto N. Mulford Rd.
  • Turn left at the Rock Valley College entrance

FROM CHICAGO AND NORTHWEST SUBURBS
  • Take I-90 west to the E. Riverside Blvd. exit in Rockford (note that I-90 curves north near Rockford)
  • Turn left onto E. Riverside Blvd. and proceed to N. Mulford Rd.
  • Turn left onto N. Mulford Rd.
  • Turn left at the Rock Valley College entrance

FROM FREEPORT AND POINTS WEST
  • Take US-20 east towards Rockford
  • Take the I-90 west exit towards Wisconsin, heading north
  • Take the E. Riverside Blvd. exit in Rockford
  • Turn left onto E. Riverside Blvd. and proceed to N. Mulford Rd.
  • Turn left onto N. Mulford Rd.
  • Turn left at the Rock Valley College entrance
