The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

Your Path to Success


At Rock Valley College, our focus is on student success. We are here to ensure that you have the options and opportunities available to help you attain your goals.

We’ll help you get acclimated to college life through a wide range of services designed to make your transition a smooth one.

We’ll show you how you can pay for your education with financial aid and scholarships and how your RVC credits will transfer. Through academic advising and counseling and career planning, we’ll work with you to select a major that fits your interests. Continue to achieve your goals through the assessment center with testing and assessment of your individual academic skills. We’ll introduce you to favorite student hang-outs like the bookstore, the Success Center, and computer labs.
