The Center for Student Support Services provides services to all students at the Stenstrom Center and the Aviation Center. gat-printing-press

  • Advising
  • Career information and testing
  • Choices: A computer program offering advanced career guidance by matching your preferences and goals to related careers
  • Employment search assistance
  • Financial aid information, assistance and referrals
  • Resume preparation
  • Transfer information

NIU courses are currently being held in the University Center at Stenstrom. If you are interested in obtaining your bachelor's degree, but would like to stay in the Rockford area, consider one of seven degreed programs offered through the RVC/NIU partnership.

All students taking classes at the Stenstrom Center and Aviation Center are eligible to participate in these services. The Center for Student Support Services will also provide activities which encourage your involvement and enhance your community college experience.

The Center for Student Support Services can assist you in making your learning environment a fulfilling experience. We are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
