RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!
Courses in the High School
Credit:
Students receive both high school and college credit for RVC-approved high school courses that follow additional and specific criteria qualifying it as a college-level course. These courses are typically taught by high school instructors.
Course Offering Responsibility:
High school-level courses are offered by the high school with identical content and expectations of similar college courses. Dual credit high school courses provide opportunities for college credit that serve to expand curricular offerings and reduce duplication of efforts for students. Tuition is a set charge of one credit hour per course.
Location:
Courses are offered at the high school. Some Career & Technical Education courses are offered in partnership with Rock Valley College and CEANCI.
Courses at the College
Credit:
Students receive college credit only. Students are enrolled and taking college-level course work while still enrolled concurrently in high school.
Course Offering Responsibility:
College course is only offered by the College. Dual enrollment courses offer high school students the same opportunities as other college students. Enrollment in a course in this option offers opportunities for early entry to college programs while still enrolled in high school. Regular tuition charges apply.
