RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

In Rockford, Upper Iowa University offers bachelor degree programs in an accelerated 8-week format. Classes meet once a week at the Rockford Center, which is located at 1161 Tebala Blvd, Rockford, IL.

Upper Iowa University-Rockford offers bachelor degrees from our facility, located at 1161 Tebala Blvd., in Rockford. UIU is a non-profit, private university, with a residential campus in Fayette, Iowa. UIU-Rockford programs are designed for the adult learner. Classes are held during evening and weekend hours. Six eight-week terms are offered year-round, with each class meeting once a week. In addition to classes offered at our state-of-the-art facility in Rockford, students can also take courses through our nationally recognized Online Program and complete many courses through Independent Study.
Students who complete an Associate program at Rock Valley and wish to then earn a 4-year degree at Upper Iowa University can transfer up to 78 credits towards the lower-division requirements of any UIU baccalaureate degree. The standard application fee is waived for RVC transfer students.
