RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's soccer. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won 11 national championships and we have had more than 130 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

As of December 2013 the MBTI assessment tool is only available to students who have completed a credit or non-credit course with Rock Valley College
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator is a nationally recognized personality assessment tool. The assessment results consist of a ten page career report offering information on the type of work environment, tasks, job families and specific occupations that would best suit your personality type. The report also offers suggestions targeted for the challenges your personality type might experience in pursuing career goals.
The assessment is taken over the Internet, and the results are sent to Career Services, Advising and Placement.
