Friends of the RVC Library

The purpose of the Friends of Rock Valley College Library is to enhance the library’s facilities, resources, and services in order to better meet the college library’s mission to students, faculty and the community. The Friends will accomplish its purpose by developing an agenda that provides financial and voluntary assistance to improve library resources and services.

The Friends of the Estelle M. Black Library is sponsoring their annual book fair at Barnes & Noble at Cherry Vale Mall on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10am-8pm!

The Friends of the Estelle M. Black Library will be sponsoring their annual book fair at Barnes & Noble at Cherry Vale Mall.

Please present this voucher prior to making your purchase. A percentage of the net sale will be contributed to Friends of the Estelle M. Black  Library!

11 a.m. - Noon: "Egg" National story time event
11 a.m. - Noon: The Good News Band with Charlie Wallace
Noon - 1 p.m. : Hoo Haven Wildlife rehab demonstration with Karen Herdklotz
1-2 p.m. : Author Stephanie Larsen, "Discover Your Master Chakra"
1-2 p.m. : Council Choraleers with Dorothy Paige Turner
2-3 p.m. : Joyful Journey Recorder group with Darlene Karvelius
3-4 p.m. : "Miss Steppers" Line Dancing demo and lessons
4-5 p.m. : Kantorei Boys Choir with Director James Marck
5-6 p.m. : Nicholas Conservatory Butterfly Gardens demo
6-7 p.m. : Phyllis Naugle, accordianist
7-8 p.m. : Jimmy Z’s School of Rock , Jim Zarembski's guitar class
