Core Historical Literature of Agriculture

CHLA is a core electronic collection of historical texts on United States agriculture and rural life published between the early nineteenth and the mid-twentieth century. The collection covers a range of agricultural sciences, forestry, food science, human nutrition, and rural sociology. It includes scientific texts, handbooks, memoirs, local government publications, transactions of early agricultural societies, government publications, and farm journals.

CARLI Digital Collections

Oxford Art Online

Oxford Art Online is a gateway that offers users the ability to access and search the content of Grove Art Online and the following Oxford art reference works: The Oxford Companion to Western Art ; Encyclopedia of Aesthetics ; and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms. Users can choose to view biographies, subject entries, or images when searching or browsing. This functionality allows users greater access to the more than 23,000 subject entries, 21,000 biographies, 500,000 bibliographic citations, 40,000 image links and 5,000 images contained within Grove Art Online. Thematic timelines and learning resources also provide users with powerful tools for navigating the content, and context-sensitive help pages are available throughout the site to guide users through the features and functionality.

The database provides indexing and abstracts for approximately 295,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,600 records.

Delivered via the EBSCOhost platform, LISTA indexes nearly 600 periodicals plus books, research reports, and proceedings. With coverage dating back to the mid-1960s, it is the oldest continuously produced database covering the field of information science.

SORA - Searchable Ornithological Research Archive

The SORA Project is an open access electronic journal archive and is the product of a collaboration among the American Ornithologists' Union, the Cooper Ornithological Society, the Association of Field Ornithologists, the Wilson Ornithological Society, the Eastern, Inland and Western Bird Banding Associations, the Neotropical Ornithological Society and the University of New Mexico libraries and IT department. This archive provides access to an extensive Ornithological literature of international scope, and detailed material documenting the history of Ornithology in North America over the last 120 years.
