The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

Important Note:  

Effective July 1, the Identity Protection Act (096-0894) of 2010, will no longer allow the use of social security numbers for account access.  Your Student ID number is required for all registrations; specifically Telephone Registrations. 

Your student ID number is located on the top right corner of Registration Statements.  Your ID number is necessary for interacting with many RVC departments.

Affordable, convenient classes are offered each spring, summer, and fall on the college campus and at many community locations.

Class schedules are mailed to every household in the RVC college district before registration starts. To request a schedule, please call (815) 921-3900, or view the schedule online.

Classes fill on a first-come, first served basis. Registration forms are included in the Community Education class schedule or can be received by calling (815) 921-3900. Methods for registering include in person (Admissions and Records Office, Student Center, main campus), telephone (815) 921-4250, mail, or fax (815) 921-4269. Telephone registration may only be used if the student has previously attended RVC. Mail and fax registrations are the least expedient methods
