Continuing Education

offers programs and courses to increase useful job knowledge, functional skills and practical workplace methods that directly translate into improved employee performance. Any program or course that meets the criteria of helping students in their general professional development, career advancement or preparation for state and national certificate exams would qualify to be offered through CCE.

Rock Valley College's Continuing Education Department is looking for you! Teaching for Continuing Education can be rewarding in so many ways. Because of the nature of non-credit classes, instructors are not required to have degrees — just demonstrate expertise in their subject area. We are looking for individuals with expertise and/or experience in the following Industrial areas:
  • CNC Machine
  • Electrical Control Circuits
  • Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Hydraulic Components & Systems

Community Education

offers non-credit courses for hobby, leisure, and development.  Courses do not earn credit toward college degrees and are not transferable. We are seeking part-time adjunct faculty who are interested in sharing their expertise with members of our community. Individuals with skills in the following areas are encouraged to propose new classes for our program.

Whiz Kids

offers students in K - 8th grade with a variety of academic enrichment opportunities. We are seeking part-time adjunct faculty/educational business vendors who are interested in sharing their expertise with members of our community. Individuals will create, develop and teach proposed course material. Be part of the many enjoying the convenience, flexibility, and opportunity to inspire others.
