RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!
Rock Valley College is more than an educational institution. It’s a resource for the entire community. You can attend a wide variety of events year-round at RVC that will enrich your life, such as cultural programs, athletic games, films, lectures, theatrical performances, trips and tours, art exhibition openings, and personal interest classes. Our Community Education offerings are among the largest and most diverse you'll find anywhere. Chances are, if you have an interest in something, like learning to speak a new language, play the piano or paint, we have what you are looking for, and that's just scratching the surface of our offerings. We offer an entire range of programs for business people, and you're never too old to learn, just ask the nearly 2,000 members of our thriving Center for Learning in Retirement.
RVC also offers a Speakers Bureau to area media and organizations looking for an expert to comment on a particular topic. Many of our faculty members are considered experts in their subject areas and are willing to share their knowledge with the community. If you need to rent a room for a speaker or conference, let us know. We have spaces available for community use.
