rrvecThe Rock River Valley Entrepreneurship Center is a regional hub for coordinating small business and entrepreneurship training and development activity. This unique program, created under a grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, builds on the existing department-sponsored programs, including the Small Business Development Center Network, Procurement Technical Assistance Centers, International Trade Centers, and NAFTA Opportunity Centers.

Our mission is to catalyze high-growth potential small and medium-sized enterprises and develop them into economically viable and sustainable companies that will grow and create jobs in Illinois.

With a service area that includes Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, and Stephenson counties, our partners include:
