RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's soccer. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won 13 national championships and we have had more than 140 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

Business and Professional Institute: The BPI at Rock Valley College can help your business become more productive and profitable with customized training and technical assistance. Training can be tailored to meet your unique needs and can take place on site or at RVC’s campus. BPI’s Strategic Business Consultants are experts in their fields with hands on experience in the real world.
TechWorks: Providing a 96-hour Fast-Track skills training that leads to NIMS credentials, TECHWORKS has credentialed more than 90 employees. Our training partners include Rock Valley College, Sandvik Coromant, NIMS and HTEC and we work to give each individual the skills for advanced manufacturing. We also hold “KIDSWORKS” camps in the summer with our partner “Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs.”
Rock Valley College Continuing Professional Education: CPE offers programs to increase useful job knowledge, functional skills and practical workplace methods that translate into improved employee performance. Non-credit certificate courses will help you in your general professional development, career advancement and preparation for state and national certificate exams.
Rock Valley College Engineering and Technology: RVC’s Engineering and Technology offers a host of credit degree and certificate programs in areas in high demand for workers. Areas of study include: Electronic Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Building Construction Management, Sustainable Energy Systems, Graphic Arts Technology, Industrial Computer Systems and the Associate of Engineering Science transfer degree.
Small Business Development Center: Offering support and training for those running or starting small businesses, the SBDC programs are varied. From patent workshops to sessions on starting a business conducted in both English and Spanish to new programs like “Creating the Creative Business” the SBDC supports the fastest-growing segment of business today.
