RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

About Us

EIGERlab is a centrally located, state of the art, mixed-use incubator. It serves the region with leading edge business and engineering support services. The facility and programs assist in the development of a robust and diverse entrepreneurial culture through the collaboration of education, business and government. Focused to assist start up, early stage growth and expanding existing businesses, EIGERlab serves as a one-stop resource for entrepreneurs and innovators.

Accelerator Program

EIGERlab ’s new accelerator program combines virtual and on-site services and programming specifically targeted at advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and alternative energy commercialization. Using National Business Incubator Association’s (NBIA) programming, we have the necessary service infrastructure to accelerate innovation.

Rapid Prototyping

EIGERlab  prototyping is the technology transforming your thoughts first into a computer model, and then into a physical object. Using the most diverse assortment of rapid prototyping equipment, we can recommend the process best fitting your prototyping needs.

Listed below are the EIGERlab prototyping processes performed in-house to minimize the project turn-around time. EIGERlab Prototyping is indicative of the Innovation practiced at the EIGERlab .

Incubator

EIGERlab is a centrally located, state of the art mixed-use incubator serving the region with leading edge business and engineering support services. The facility and programs are designed to assist in the development of targeted industry clusters through collaborative efforts of education, business and government.

TECHWORKS

Our 2,000 square feet facility in Rockford, Illinois dedicated to training and improving individual manufacturing skills. There are presently two components in the facility...the Fastener Training
& Technology Center and the Woodward Academy.
