RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!
Congratulations to the RVC women's basketball team on winning the NJCAA tournament for the second straight season! RVC defeated #8 Ocean County (NJ), 84-64 in round 1; defeated #5 Montgomery Rockville (MD), 72-60 in semifinals; and then defeated #2 Mohawk Valley (NY), 78-60 in the championship game. Keshawnee Alley, Revonnia Howard, and Marquiesha Grant were named to the all-tournament team, TaRicka Linzy was named tournament MVP, and Misty Opat was named NJCAA Division III Coach of the Tournament.
The Golden Eagles finished the season 32-2.

The 2011-2012 season was a historic one for women's basketball as head coach Misty Opat led her team to the first NJCAA national championship for women's basketball in RVC history. In just three seasons, Opat has compiled an overall record of 64-32, including a stellar 28-8 mark in conference play. In the last six seasons, RVC women's basketball has won or shared three conference titles, won two regional championships, a national championship, and has seen five players named NJCAA All-Americans.
