Three Golden Eagles earn post-season honors

The RVC men's basketball team recently completed its most successful season since the 2000-2001 season. After 10 straight losing seasons, the Golden Eagles finished an impressive 20-11 behind second year head coach Julian Springer.

That success has led to some post-season honors for some of RVC's players. Freshman center Elijah Williams has been named first team all-conference and second team all-region, while freshman guard Dominique Gaddis earned second team all-conference, and sophomore guard Deric Branch earned second team all-region honors.

Williams was RVC's second leading scorer at 11.8 points per game and led the team in rebounding at 6.0 per game, and in blocked shots with 26 on the season.

Gaddis was the team's leading scorer at 11.9 points per game and also led RVC in steals with 55.

Branch was the Golden Eagles' leading three-point shooter with 57 on the season and also led the team in assists with 3.3 per game. He finished fourth on the team in scoring with 9.4 points per game.
