RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

Who? Simone Coburn
Sport: Women's Basketball
Year(s) at RVC: 2007-2008, 2008-2009
Where is she now?: Simone attended Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL, where she was her team's leading scorer as a junior at 14 points/game.
Awards/accomplishments while at RVC: Became the first RVC women's basketball player in history to earn NJCAA All-American honors and did so in back-to-back seasons in 2008 and 2009 while leading RVC to a conference championship in 2008 and a regional championship in 2009.
Simone's message to RVC: "I'm glad to see the women's team keeping the program up. RVC has done a lot to contribute to my success now and I wish the team good luck!!! Keep up the good work!"
