The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

RVC has more than a dozen program divisions with faculty and staff who will be happy to sit down with you to discuss their programs and how they match with your educational goals.

In an effort to expand the offerings available to you, we also have more than 40 joint educational agreements with two-year colleges in Illinois and Wisconsin. If you’d prefer to learn from the comfort of your own home, consider our distance learning program.

You’ll also have opportunities to expand your mind and broaden your worldview you can Study Abroad in such locations as China, Italy, Spain, Greece, and France.
