The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

EdNet

EdNet

EdNet is Rock Valley College's electronic learning environment and includes student e-mail and conferencing. You will receive important notices from RVC about your bill, Online Services password, important dates, etc. via e-mail on EdNet.

Conferences are established for more than 500 participating classes. Instructors can post messages, assignments, class notes, practice tests, or whatever else is relevant to their classes.

If you have an EdNet account,we recommend that you install the free EdNet software on your computer. EdNet is easy to install. We strongly recommend that you install the FREE EdNet software if possible. EdNet is a relatively small file (7-8 MB) so it won't take up much space on your hard drive or mess with any system files. 

If you have trouble downloading the software online, you can pick up the EdNet software and Tutorial on CD-ROM at the EdNet Support Center. The EdNet Support Center is located on the second floor of the Educational Resource Center (ERC), Room 2418.

If you cannot install the free EdNet software on your computer, you can reach your class conferences via this web page. Enter your EdNet UserID* (your student ID number beginning with the letter 's') and password (Default password is your 6 digit date of birth as mmddyy)  when requested.

*Employees should use their employee number beginning with the letter 'e' and adjuncts should use 'a'.

Although the Web browser version of EdNet is not as user-friendly as the free EdNet software (aka the 'Client' version), you can still read and send e-mail, upload, download, read your class assignments, and post to conferences.
