RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

Welcome to Rock Valley College's Assessment Website. Faculty and administrators are very serious when it comes to the quality of education students receive. Assessment Updates

Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP)

CAAP was administered in a sample of 200-level courses during Spring 2013. Preliminary results indicate that RVC students scored higher than the national average on Critical Thinking. A more detailed data brief is coming soon.

Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) Assessment

The RVC Assessment Committee and additional faculty groups have been revising the College's Student Learning Outcomes. There will be opportunities for several College committees to preview the new outcomes before they are rolled out in Fall 2013.
