Downtown West Campus

RVC is constructing a new campus! The Downtown West campus will be located at Chestnut and Winnebago/Rockton. We are excited to expand our offerings to better serve the western portion of our college district. The programs at this location will include automotive, e-vehicles, collision repair, early childhood education, truck driver training, human services, criminal justice, and adult education. In addition, the college is planning for a community engagement space to better engage adult learners and the community.

Timeline

Demolition

From September to October 2024, demo of the three buildings will take place with an anticipated completion of December 2024 - January 2025.

Milestones

We hosted a Groundbreaking Ceremony in March 2025, and celebrated with a Last Beam Ceremony in August 2025. Stay tuned for more information regarding the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to be held summer/fall 2026.

Completion

The overall anticipated completion of construction activities at the RVC Downtown West Campus will be Fall 2026.

Naming Opportunities

While we are proud of the state-of-the-art facilities within RVC Downtown West, we know that buildings alone will not change lives. What changes lives are the opportunities that unfold inside of them. Downtown West will prepare students for meaningful careers in adult education, automotive technology, criminal justice, early childhood education, human services, and more.

These innovative facilities bring with it visible naming opportunities that directly support student scholarships housed within RVC’s newest campus and beyond. With the anticipated foot traffic of this campus welcoming students and community members alike, named classrooms and labs offer local organizations and employers a high-visibility opportunity to engage with potential members of the future workforce and community partners, all while directly supporting scholarships.
