Career Pathways Jump Start
Career Pathways Jump Start is a program that allows select high school seniors enrolled in participating high schools to attend RVC part-time to earn dual credits towards high school diploma and an industry certification! Current pathways offered include: Automotive, Aviation Maintenance, Mechatronics, and Welding!
How to Get Started
- Meet with your high school counselor to discuss your eligibility and determine which pathway is right for you.

Eligibility Requirements
High schools identify qualified students based on the district agreement with RVC and any additional district specific criteria. Please check with your high school if you meet the eligibility requirements.
- Strong academic standing in high school to guarantee high school graduation at completion of Career Pathways Jump Start Program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
- Must be in junior year of high school to apply for the Career Pathways Jump Start program.
- If interested in the Aviation pathway- recommendation of C or higher in Algebra/Geometry/Integrated Math.
