Rock Valley College celebrated a key construction milestone with a Last Beam Celebration at its new Downtown West Campus on Friday, August 15, at 1 p.m. The event was held on-site at the intersection of Chestnut and Winnebago Streets in downtown Rockford.

For first-generation college student Camila Marquez, Rockford Promise provided her an opportunity to start her college journey at Rock Valley College (RVC). Thanks to a new partnership between Rockford Promise, RVC, and Northern Illinois University (NIU), she may now have the opportunity to continue her education at NIU tuition-free.
