With fall registration open, and the start of semester fast approaching, Rock Valley College has lined up several registration events to help incoming students get prepared for the fall semester.
“We want to meet our students where they are,” said Casey Hauser, New Student Enrollment Manager. “We are offering in-person and virtual registration events leading up to the fall semester as well as bringing resources, like the RVC Tech Bus, out into the community.”
This summer, registration teams will be attending the Rockford City Market on August 26 and September 16. Look for the RVC Tech Bus to “register on wheels” and get your questions answered about becoming a Golden Eagle.
The college is also hosting three evening Experience RVC events on July 21, August 4, and August 11 from 4-6 PM. These hybrid registration events may be attended either in-person or virtually. Student Life will also be present in-person with RVC swag and giveaways. Check-in information and Zoom links are available at RockValleyCollege.edu/Events.
Finally, RVC is excited to feature a day-long Open House Registration Celebration on Friday, August 5. The event will take place from 8 AM to 4 PM in the Student Center on Main Campus. In addition to registration help, the day will be filled with fun activities, free popcorn and cotton candy, music, and photo opportunities with our beloved mascot Arvee!
Registration help will also be available daily during Walk-In Weekdays. Incoming students can walk-in between 11 AM to 5 PM during the week to receive help with application completion, determining placement, course registration, academic advising, financial aid, and more!
