By keeping you aware of crimes occurring in your community, the RVC Police hope to encourage you to become actively involved in crime prevention. Personal safety practices and knowledge are your best defense against crime.


REPORTED OFFENSE – Burglaries (x2), Motor Vehicle Theft.

Police are investigating a report of two burglaries and a motor vehicle theft that occurred at the Stenstrom Center for Career Education (SCCE). 

A burglary and vehicle burglary occurred September 19, 2018, in the afternoon, wherein an unidentified black male subject entered an unlocked classroom and committed a theft of a purse with money and car keys. A vehicle, in the parking lot, unrelated to the stolen car keys, was also entered and items stolen.

On October 2, 2018, a burglary occurred in the morning, when the same suspect entered an unlocked classroom and took the victim’s car keys. The suspect is believed to have taken the victim’s vehicle.



Black male 15-18 years of age, 5’8-5’10, 120-130lb thin build, with short black hair.



1. Do not leave valuables unattended, even in a classroom.

2. Lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables in plain sight.

3. Report any and all suspicious people and incidents to the police immediately.
