Celebrate Earth Day at RVC’s EARTHAPALOOZA

Rock Valley College’s annual Earth Day celebration, Earthapalooza, will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:30-8:30pm in the Jacobs Center for Science & Math (JCSM) on RVC’s main campus, 3301 North Mulford Road, Rockford, IL. The evening of events will take place on the JCSM 1st & 2nd floors.

The Earthapalooza evening of events will consist of demonstrations, hands-on workshops, presentations, various speakers, movies, and more!

In addition to Earthapalooza, you can celebrate Earth Day early with an Earth Day Lecture on Tuesday, April 17, presented by Dr. Emily McKee! She will speak on “How Can We Foster Viable Local Food Systems?” Insights from Research with Northern Illinois Farmers and Eaters” from 3-4 p.m. in the Jacobs Center for Science & Math (JCSM) room 1104.

All events are free and open to the community and are held in the Jacobs Center for Science & Math (JCSM), 3301 N. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL.
