Through an innovative partnership between Northern Illinois University and Rock Valley College, students have a unique opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from NIU without leaving Rockford.

Learn how you can earn a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering on the campus of RVC or a B.S. in Applied Manufacturing Technology online at a special event on Tuesday, November 7, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., in the lobby of the Woodward Technology Center on the RVC main campus (3301 North Mulford Road).

Engineering degrees are in high demand, and NIU’s high-quality hands-on programs prepare graduates for amazing careers. Hear from NIU faculty and alumni and leading industry partners about careers, internship opportunities, and program experiences. You’ll join other prospective students in small groups to learn more about jobs, degree program options, and the enrollment process. Apply for free (a $40 value) and receive one-on-one guidance from admission representatives.

After the information session, join us for a tour of the Woodward Technology Center, which has been newly renovated just for this program.

If you wish to attend the information session, you are strongly encouraged to register in advance at go.niu.edu/NIUatRVC123. If you have any questions please contact Anissa Kuhar at anissak@niu.edu or (815)753-8760.
