Web Programming and Design

Overview

Gain the tools, techniques, and skills to launch your career in web design. Learn the latest technologies and platforms to create interactive and responsive websites/apps from our expert instructors. The program first lays the foundation for web design basics from typography to color theory, to interaction design and, to wireframing and then dives deep into ‘hands on’ front end coding programs. After completing the program, you will walk away with portfolio project that shows your passion for design and technical talent.

It is recommended that you select one of our many Certificate programs of study, so upon completion of the AAS degree, you will also have certificates from RVC in your discipline of preference.

For those who decide to pursue a bachelor’s degree, the Web Programming & Design Program offers courses that can be successfully transferred to baccalaureate institutions. Students should consult with an academic advisor, or the Dean or Academic Chair of the CIS program.
