Biometric Screenings

All employees, faculty members, and their spouses who have Rock Valley College health insurance can get a free biometric screening every year. The screening includes a blood draw and health questionnaire. Employees and faculty members can earn financial incentives for participating. 

Golden Futures 5K and 1 Mile Fitness Walk

Enjoy the beautiful Rock Valley College campus as you run or walk the course (USATF certified). The Golden Futures 5K is an annual event open to the public where all proceeds go toward the Rock Valley College Foundation general scholarship fund.

Health and Benefit Fair

Employees and faculty members get the chance to meet with local health vendors and Rock Valley College benefit providers during the annual Health and Benefit Fair.  

Educational Seminars and Webinars

Every month, free health and wellness related webinars are made available to employees and faculty members. In addition, free onsite seminars are offered several times every year.

Well onTarget®

Employees, faculty members and spouses who have health insurance through Rock Valley College, can use Well onTarget® through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. Well onTarget® offers support to make healthy choices and includes a health assessment, self-directed courses, wellness coaching, life points program, and fitness program.

Employee Assistance Program

Rock Valley College offers an Employee Assistance Program through Perspectives. All employees can take advantage of this free service to help you handle personal and workplace stress and other issues that impact your life.
