Beekeeping Whats the BuZZ
February 16: Beekeeping! What’s the BuZZ?
 

This class is for beginner beekeepers! We will have general facts and information on the responsibilities of a beekeeper, a display of equipment, bee suit, hive set-up recommendations, hints and tricks (acquired from nine years of success and some failures), initial set up costs, caring for bees, and procuring honey from the hive, as well as catalogs for ordering your supplies. There will be door prizes and giveaways to get you started. This will be a class very open to questions and discussion. Inquiries and trepidations are welcome!

February 23: Vision Board
 

Get your intentions flowing in 2018 and put your life goals into motion! Create a vision board from using magazine clippings, scrap book materials, and other fun items to manifest positive changes in your life. This is a fun and creative class. The cost will include a board and all necessary supplies to build your board.

CCE Experience Sunshine in a VaseMarch 23: Sunshine in a Vase
 

Enjoy an evening learning about shapes and layers to create flowers from abstract brush strokes. Paint a vase by layering additional acrylic paint colors that will define the vase. This is a fun and creative way to spend an evening teaching your brain to see abstract strokes as complete shapes. This 11”x14” canvas is the perfect size to hang anywhere and display the sunshine in a vase.

Learn to create a stunning floral painting using alcohol inks on tiles. Alcohol inks are so incredible to work with and the fluidity of the medium is perfect for those that want to learn to paint loosely and quickly to create one of a kind artwork. This new media has so many applications and using it on tiles creates one of a kind displays for your wall or on a desk. Come and explore what is possible with this creative new process!

Wear: Clothing appropriate for splatter and thin gloves for keeping your hands clean. Alcohol inks are harsh on the skin for those with sensitive skin.

CCE Experience Barn Quilt PaintingApril 27: Barn Quilt Painting
 

Paint a quilt square on wood to display indoors or out! A 2x2 foot square of sanded and primed plywood will be ready for you. Experiment with colors and a design of your choice from several quilt patterns before painting. A variety of exterior paint colors will be available. The ideas and techniques you learn will be just the beginning of your creative barn quilt endeavors.

Bring: Specific paint colors if you want them. Brushes provided.
