The Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP) aims to help women, minorities, and disadvantaged individuals gain acceptance into the construction trades. During the 14 week class, participants will engage in 450 hours of apprenticeship readiness training with the goal of applying for and obtaining an apprenticeship in the building trades.
HCCTP is offered twice a year (Fall and Spring) and the admission process is competitive—not all who apply will be accepted.
HCCTP is at no cost to the participant as it is funded entirely by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The next class begins March 4, 2019. Orientation and Testing will begin in January 2019. Apply below.
