The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, located in Skokie, IL, is the third-largest Holocaust museum in the world, and it is a remarkable place to visit. This tour features a docent-led tour of the “Karkomi Holocaust Exhibit” which will provide a deeply moving experience using survivor stories, personal belongings, photographs, and videos. Our tour will also include a “Survivor Speaker” session (as available) and an “Interactive Survivor Experience” – a unique and unforgettable opportunity to engage in a conversation with a three-dimensional image of an actual Holocaust survivor. We will end the day with free time to explore the museum’s additional exhibits including “Memory Unearthed: The Lodz Ghetto Photographs of Henryk Ross”. The museum also offers contemplative spaces for quiet reflection on your day. A deli lunch will be provided on location.
