Community Education, Whiz Kids, & Continuing Education
- Community Education offers non-credit courses for hobby, leisure, and development. Courses do not earn credit toward college degrees and are not transferable.
- Whiz Kids provides youth & young adults a variety of academic enrichment opportunities.
- Continuing Education offers courses and programs to help you upgrade your skills with non-degree credit, national certification and courses in business, skilled trades, healthcare, and technology areas.

Part-Time Instructors: Community Education & Continuing Education
We are seeking part-time adjunct faculty who are interested in developing & sharing their expertise with members of our community. Due to the nature of non-credit classes, instructors are not required to have degrees – just demonstrate expertise in their subject area.

Part-Time Instructors: Whiz Kids Academic Enrichment Program ($20/hour)
Are you looking to make a big impact in a part time job? Our part time Whiz Kids Instructors will have fun teaching preschool, elementary, and/or young adult participants.
Instructors should be looking for part time work, enjoy working with children, and have reliable transportation.
Schedule:
- This is a part time job. We help you develop a class schedule based on your availability.
Experience:
- We're primarily interested in dynamic personalities who want to make a difference in a child's day.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
Instructor Responsibilities:
- Be Early – Instructors are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class time
- Be Prepared – Instructors are expected to develop their own curriculum and lessons. (For the summer semester, basic curriculum outlines may be available for specific subjects/topics).
- Be Friendly – A smile and a healthy dose of enthusiasm go a long way.
- Be Engaging – RVC instructors engage students to THINK, LEARN, and PLAY WELL each and every class.
Supplies:
- Instructors select and purchase the supplies they need to flourish in a program setting. All approved supply expenses are fully reimbursed.
