When you are ready to commit to pursuing the next step in your education, our Adult Education program is ready to meet you where you are and help you achieve your goal of completing the High School Equivalency (GED). We also offer basic skill instruction in Reading, Writing and Math at no cost.

How to Get Started

Enrollment for GED classes will reopen in the summer.

About the GED Test

The ABE/ASE (Adult Basic Education/Adult Secondary Education) program can help you improve your reading, writing and math skills. We have three levels of classes, based on reading scores from a reading assessment. The purpose of the classes is to help students successfully complete their high school equivalency (GED).

Ready to test?

Testing in this area is available through the Regional Office of Education in Loves Park. Eligible persons may test without taking classes.
