Tech Connect Sessions

The First Year Experience Office (FYE) Tech Connect Session is an introduction to learning and understanding how to navigate within the RVC Online Services and RVC Eagle Learning Management Systems.  This session is highly recommended for new students and only required for students currently enrolled in a STU 100 course.  You must have a class schedule and currently enrolled as a student to be eligible to attend this session.

You will learn the following at a FYE Tech Connect session:
 

  • Online Services (30 minutes)
     
    • Manage your waitlist
    • Making or setting up payments
    • Access Financial Aid status
    • Understand how to register for classes
    • How to enter classes into Student Planning
    • View your Program Evaluation
  • Eagle Learning Management System (30 minutes)
     
    • Login
    • Navigation
    • Assignments, Discussions, quizzes
    • Communication with Faculty
    • Difference between RVC email and EAGLE email

High School Students
 

All high school students taking RVC courses, while still in high school, must go through Early College for registration. If you have any questions, please contact Early College at (815) 921-4080.
