We're excited for another wonderful semester at Rock Valley College! To help navigate any questions you may have for the start of the semester, review the helpful resources and supports available to you below:

Welcome to Spring 2023 at Rock Valley College! Watch as Amanda Zika, Manager of the First Year Experience Office, shares ways to prepare for the Spring 2023 semester, how to log in to EAGLE and student email, and tips for success for the fall semester and beyond.

  1. Utilize the Tutoring Center, Writing Center, and Math Lab for assistance in your courses. Seek help early in the semester! 
  2. Visit the RVC Library and Computer Labs available for use throughout the semester.
  3. The Office of Student Success offers several online learning tools. View more at Student Success Resources and Student Success in an Online Learning Environment.
  4. Personal and Success Counseling is free and confidential, focusing to help individuals with difficulties of feeling homesick, difficulty transitioning into college, crisis/suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, and family/relationship concerns.
  5. If you are a student with a disability who may require assistance in accessing any of the college's programs or services, please contact Disability Support Services.
  6. Get Involved with student organizations and clubs and Follow RVC on social media
  7. EAGLES Nest Food Pantry is a program that collects and stores foods to distribute free-of-charge to ALL RVC students. This includes those enrolled in GED and ESL classes.
  8. Sign up for RVC Alerts to get the latest news on campus happenings, weather warnings, and other important information.

Class Formats

Classes at RVC will be held in online, hybrid, and in-person formats. In Self Service, each course option being offered will tell you what mode of instruction your classes will follow.
