RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

Technology

Northern Illinois University
Bachelor of Science in Technology

The NIU technology program provides a combination of hands-on, technical skills and a sound management base.

Building on an Associate of Applied Science degree, this program offers a core of management and supervision courses, plus a variety of technology and management electives. Graduates of the NIU technology program have the skills to enter – or improve their existing positions in – the industrial management or manufacturing fields.

NOTE: Students and working professionals who hold associate of arts (A.A.) or science (A.S.) degrees – or who have not yet earned a two-year degree – will also benefit from this program's offerings.

Students enrolled in the B.S. in Technology program – which has an emphasis in industrial technology – will enjoy these benefits:

  • Convenient evening, weekend, and online courses that allow working adults to pursue their degrees part-time.
  • Opportunities for career advancement and increased career options.
  • The latest technical knowledge from courses taught by NIU faculty and/or experts in the field.
