Our friendly advisors are here to help you choose the educational path that is right for you. They’ll work with you to build your schedule and help you stay on track to complete your goals. Whether you are a new student thinking about attending RVC or a current RVC student, having one of our advisors on your side will get you where you want to go!

Graduation Evaluation Fridays

Graduation Evaluation Fridays

Academic and Transfer Advising is taking walk-ins from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following Fridays for the sole purpose of evaluating credits for potential Fall 2017 graduates: 9/22 and 9/29. You do not need an appointment - just check in at the Main Advising Desk.

Before You See An Advisor

Before calling or stopping by to make an appointment with one of our advisors, we strongly encourage you to follow these steps.

Advising Requirement

First time freshmen with 0 completed and 0 transfer credit hours for the semester are required to meet with an academic advisor.

A student receives help from an advisor in the Open Advising Lab.

Open Advising Lab

If you have some idea about the types of classes you wish to take, this drop-in lab may be ideal for you. Academic advisors are on hand to assist you with your quick questions and help you register!

Student Planning

Student Planning is an online tool that will allow you to view your progress, search for new classes, plan your degree, & register for classes. Download the tutorial to find out how to use this feature!
