Volleyball: RVC adds explosive recruit

Tailyr Negri, a four-year star at Christian Life High School, has signed to play volleyball for Rock Valley College this season. Negri set both the career assists record (1,640) and the single game assists record (38) for Christian Life while serving as varsity captain for three seasons.
Matt Weber to play basketball at RVC

Former Rockford Boylan standout, Matt Weber, has decided to play basketball at Rock Valley College next season. Weber will come to Rock Valley as a sophomore after playing last season for Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa.

Graduates from RVC GED/EDP Programs Attend graduation ceremony this week

The Adult Education Program at Rock Valley College holds its 24th annual Graduation Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, May 22, 6:00 p.m. in the Bengt Sjostrom Theatre. Graduates participating in the ceremony are among the 260 RVC students who completed their General Educational Development (GED) high school equivalency and the 3 adults who earned their high school diploma through the RVC External Diploma Program (EDP) during the past 12 months. Mr. Gordon Eggers, Chief Executive Officer of Crusader Clinic, will address the graduates.

Rock Valley College will graduate 866 students this spring, and 346 of them will participate in RVC's 42nd annual commencement exercises, Thursday, May 15 at 6 p.m. in the Physical Education Center on the main campus at 3301 North Mulford Road, Rockford.
