Congratulations are in order for two local companies and clients of the Rock River Valley Entrepreneurship Center: Balanced IT Solutions (Kerry Frank) and Universal Die Cast (Harold Winebaugh). September 24 was the semi-final portion of the Innovate IL Competition, held at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, where a total of 30 companies participated.
RRVEC clients were among the 12 chosen to compete in the finals; six from early stage, pre-revenue group and six from later stage, revenue-producing. And consistent with previous years, the stateline region will be sending both to the finals in Chicago on November 10. Congratulations to both Balanced IT Solutions and Universal Die Cast and to the judges who selected them for the competition.
