RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's soccer. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won 11 national championships and we have had more than 130 All-Americans.

Rock Valley College Studio Theatre will be hosting open auditions for its production of The Wizard of Oz. Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, October 14-15, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the Studio Theatre on Rock Valley College's main campus (3301 North Mulford Road).
These are General Call Auditions. You must prepare a song from the production that demonstrates range and style. You will be taught a couple of simple dance combinations as a group and you will be asked to execute them in pairs. You will be assigned partners and you will be asked to prepare and present a simple story using a provided set of props.
You may attend one or both days of the auditions. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early and be ready to audition at 7:00 p.m. It will help you if you are familiar with the script before the auditions. Several copies of the script are available at the Studio Theatre box office and will be available for you to read in the lobby of the Studio Theatre between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays. Scripts may not be checked out.
No roles have been precast and all roles are available through these auditions.
"Must dates" are November 24 - December 14, 2013 (inclusive - except Thanksgiving) with performances December 4-14, 2013.
