RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

Timely Notification from Rock Valley College Police

At approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, October 24, a female student reported an attempted purse snatching in Parking Lot 7 at the Rock Valley College main campus.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, with gold or yellow teeth and wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Rock Valley College Police Department at 815-921-4357.

Students, employees, and visitors at Rock Valley College are reminded that emergency call boxes are located throughout campus, and the SafeWalk program is available for escorts. It is always important to be mindful of surroundings and report any suspicious activity, as well.
