RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

  • Rock Valley College’s Continuing Professional Education Department is looking for you!


Teaching for Continuing Professional Education can be rewarding in so many ways. You can experience the enjoyment of helping others increase their knowledge and skills and meet people with similar interests. You can earn extra income by working in an area you enjoy. Because of the nature of non-credit classes, instructors are not required to have degrees--just demonstrate expertise in their subject area.

We are looking for individuals with expertise and/or experience in their field. While we are always adding new classes, we are in current need of instructors for:

  • QuickBooks 2008
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • HVAC Programs
  • Job Skills Training
  • Welding
