RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

ROCKFORD DANCE COMPANY, in the Riverfront Museum Park, is a premier professional ballet company and resident of the Coronado Theater. The school division conducts classes in ballet, modern, jazz, tap and hip hop for preschoolers to adults, as well as offers community- based performance opportunities and education through their Dance Reach and Outreach programs.



All About Dance! Camp
(Ages 8-12) A week long exploration of various dance styles in a fun and creative environment! Dancers learn basic movements and terminology of ballet, modern, jazz and folk dance styles. This learning will culminate in the creation of a dance, costumes and sets for a mini performance at the end of the week. Girls should wear a leotard, tights and ballet shoes. Boys should wear comfortable play clothes and ballet slippers or non-slip socks. Please provide a healthy lunch for your dancer each day.

Ballet Themed Dance CampsRDC girlsmirror
(Ages 3-6) Young dancers will experience the joy of dance through famous story ballets! Ballet, folk, and creative dance movements are combined with games, crafts, and select dance media! Dancers will make their own tiara (or crown) and get to perform a special princess (or prince) dance at the end of the week. Girls should wear a leotard, tights and ballet shoes. Boys should wear comfortable play clothes and ballet slippers or non-slip socks. Please provide a healthy snack for your dancer each day.

(Boys Ages 6-10) A sports inspired, dance experience designed specifically for boys! Aerobic fitness, strengthening and stretching are built into the movement exercises drawn from familiar sports. This class will be taught by Matthew Keefe, Artistic Director and male dancers from the Rockford Dance Company. A final performance will be given at the end of the week. Boys should wear comfortable play clothes and ballet slippers or non-slip socks. Please provide a healthy snack for your dancer each day.
