Drivers Under 21

Alive at 25 ®

Alive-at-25Motor vehicle crashes are the #1 cause of death for young adults in this country. People under 21 years of age make up about 16% of the drivers in Illinois. But those same drivers account for 24% of those killed in traffic accidents.

DDC-Alive at 25 zeroes in on the key issues that put new drivers in jeopardy- inexperience, distraction, peer pressure, and a tendency to underestimate risk. This highly interactive four-hour program teaches young adults to take control of situations- as drivers and passengers- by changing their attitudes and taking responsibility for their own driving behavior.

This one-time class is a worthwhile learning experience, and a valuable supplement to driver's education. It is an educational extra step designed to help make younger drivers safer on the highway, and more able to handle the responsibilities of operating a motor vehicle.

But don't take our word for it.

With over 500,000 participants, DDC-Alive at 25 has been used nationwide by schools, courts, and state patrols in their graduated drivers license and violator programs.

Please call the Rock Valley College Traffic Safety Program at (815) 921-3940 to enroll your younger driver in this class. Classes will be presented at convenient times with a minimum of 15 students and a maximum of 25.
