RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.
The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

Earn your Food Service Certification –REQUIRED ATTENDANCE: Mandatory attendance is required for the full 15 hours. You must arrive promptly by the start time. No exceptions, late-comers will not be admitted to class. RETAKE: If you are retaking the exam, you must notify the Continuing Education Office at (815)-921-3900 before the first class, so we can order the appropriate exam. Bring your failure notification and a photo ID to class. RENEWAL: Those who need to renew their license may attend the Food Service Refresher course, or attend the first day of the 15 hour class from 8 am-2:30 pm. Bring a photo ID and your current State of Illinois Food Service Certificate to class. IMPORTANT: If your Certificate has or will expire by the first class, you must retake the 15 hour class. BELL SCHOOL ROAD CTR is located at 3350 N. Bell School Rd.
Certified food service managers, this class will qualify you for renewal of your Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Food Service Sanitation Managers Certification. Emphasis will be placed on current topics in food service sanitation, including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) concepts and foods and problems associated with recent food borne illness outbreaks. Important: Bring a photo ID and your current State of Illinois Food Service Sanitation Certificate to class. If your Certificate has or will expire by the date of the class, you must retake the 15 hour class. Register Early! NOTE: According to the State of Illinois Guidelines, mandatory attendance is required for five hours. You must arrive promptly by the start time.
