She has recently retired from her position as a Youth and Sex Crimes Detective where she worked closely with the Department of Children and Family Services. She has taught similar programs for area school bus drivers on how to identify and report child abuse.
How to Identify & Report Child Abuse
Sexual, physical, and emotional abuse along with neglect can impact a child for a life time. Learn how to identify the signs of child abuse, how to speak to a child using open ended questions, the importance of body language when speaking to a child about abuse, and how to report the abuse to the proper authorities. Earn Graduate Credit Online!

Licensed educational professionals working under a current educational baccalaureate or advanced degree may be eligible to participate.
