Healthy and Simple Mediterranean Cooking
(Adult) Rich in culture and food history, the nations on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea—Italy, Spain, France, Morocco, Greece, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iraq an Israel—have all contributed something special to the colorful, vibrant tapestry that is Mediterranean cuisine. The flavors are rich and the health benefits are hard to ignore. In essence the focus is on using fresh ingredients in season which are prepared to ensure that taste is paramount. Each session you will learn two simple healthy dishes, and receive handouts including the recipes and ingredient list. Your instructor has chosen dishes that can easily be made at home, using ingredients that you can usually find in most general or specialty stores. Class arranged to be small, informal, entertaining, informative and fun. Feel free to ask any questions or share your experiences during the class.

Basic Cake Decorating 
(Adult) Decorate cakes for those special occasions. Learn baking tips and how to make simple borders, flowers and decorations. (Adult) Learn to make icing and gum paste flowers to decorate your cakes with. Also, learn the art of decorating cakes with basket weave. Gum Paste & Fondant
(Adult) A whole new way to decorate! This course will open a new world of decorating possibilities for your cakes. Learn incredible stand-up decorations made by hand, from flowers to ruffles and bows. Learn to make flowers such as carnations, mums, roses and daisies. If you loved playing with modeling clay as a kid, you will love working with these easy to shape dough-like icings. BRING to first class: Wilton Course 3 student kit, one package of gum past and one package of fondant, and small tapered spatula. Advanced Flowers

Tall Cakes
(Adult) Learn how to construct tiered cakes using various methods. Bake and ice your cakes at home; then bring them on the final night. We will decorate and construct the Tall cakes in the second class. A supply list and instructions will be handed out the first night. PREREQUISITE: Basic cake baking and decorating knowledge.

Holiday Cookie Arrangement
(Adult) Learn how to bake, decorate, and assemble a cookie bouquet arrangement for holiday decor or for special gifts. The recipes, supply list, instructions, demonstration, and great ideas will be given to you at the first class. On the second night you will create your own arrangement to take home.

She has over 25 years of cooking and entertainment experience.

AL GRACE APPLIANCE Culinary Corner Kitchen partnered with Whirlpool to build a first class kitchen featuring state of the art appliances at the 811 W. Riverside Blvd. location. It is the home of Chef Diana of Tasty Tidbits and plays a vital role for her classes.

Learn to Cook: From Kitchen Basics to Full Meal Preparation
(Ages16-Adult) Learn everything you need to know to help you read a recipe, plan menus, understand cooking jargon & ingredients, measuring, use of utensils & other equipment, and basic knife skills. This class will help you feel very comfortable in the kitchen. Food preparation at both classes with different techniques. First session: demo & partial hands-on and at the second session, the group will be total hands on as they prepare a 4-course meal and enjoy it together! Take-home information packet and all recipes. All About Your Knives & Basic Cutting Techniques

Eat Your Weeds! Introduction to Wild Edibles
(Adult) Learn how to identify wild edible plants at this hands-on workshop for the future forager. We’ll cover some basic botany, then explore the woods looking for morels, garlic mustard, stinging nettle, raspberry shoots and other wild foods, then return to the kitchen to sample different recipes for your wild treasures.
